Ok so its been an interesting 12 hours in the american idol community. Vote for the worst has been hardcore trying to rally votes for Tim. Paige supporters are trying to show the world that one performance should not make her as an artist as a whole. My prediction still stands at this Final three will be Tim Paige and Andrew. Bottom two will be Tim and Paige and i honestly think that Tim will go home. In seasons past vote for the worst original pick goes home at the 11th spot and with tim having been in the bottom three last week i just think his time has gone. Now Tonight is going to be a great two hours of television.
First Survivor at 8pm est 7 pm cst
Its a double Eviction night tonight in survivor should be very interesting to see how all this plays out. The loyalty lines are everywhere in this game right now and it will be fun to see how this happens. In the preview they kind of play up like we will finally see the rob russell showdown we have been waiting for...who knows
Second the American Idol Results show
The only thing i am looking forward to on this show is the results with miley and demi performing its just going to be a live disney concert and that is not something i am necessarily looking forward to but the good thing about this blog is i can talk about how horrible it was afterwards!!! Can not wait for tonight blogs should be up about an hour after each show!!!

American Idol 3/23/2010
Ok first WHY IN THE WORLD was Miley cyrus the mentor tonight i dont believe that she has been in the music business long enough to help and give anyone advice on exactly how to work. WIth that said i think she did decent as a mentor but i think she lacked some experience kind of like her music. now with the performances
Lee Dewyze - Ok so the judges raved with the song about how great it was. I did not completely agree. Now do not get me wrong it was not horrible but i enjoyed him a LOT more when he was acoustically singing fireflies and just getting into it. I thought this was extremely gimmicky and just kind of everywhere. The dude had a voice and there is no doubt about it i just wish that he would remember this is a singing competition and just sing. HE is not the only person that i think the relies to and we will get to that a little later. Over all i give Lee's performance a B i think it was good but i don't think it compares to some of his better performances.
Paige Miles - When i first saw that she was singing this song i thought she was going to do FANTASTIC. I thought this would give her a chance to real connect to the song and appeal to emotions. I have to say that she connected with NOTHING. It was pitchy and all over the place. It also did not thing she got into the song and it didn't compare. I got the feeling that with her being in the bottom so much she just kind of didn't expect to win this competition and kind of checked out. I think she has a great voice but this week i just got the feeling that she did not care. It upsets me because i thought Caitlin deserved to be her way more than she did . ( A little side not here i think Kara was way to hard on her. They should have left it at her performance was terrible and given her some ways to improve i just think that they were a little tough on her. When she is better than Tim)
Tim Urban- WHY IS HE STILL HERE! Ok i know he has Vote for the Worst's Support (If you do not know what this is just ask) but this is ridiculous he had no reason to be there in the first place. Granted i do not think he was the worst performance of the evening but i believe that he just was too much into having fun and not worried about how he performed. To me this is a dream to him and he has not woken up. It is more of a vacation than a competition. I am just please do not vote for him it is time to end this persons dream.
Aaron Kelly- Ok So again i was not completely on board with the judges here they LOVED it. I think that Aaron has a voice and i like him more and more every week. BUT i think that he lacks the vocal TRAINING that some of the others have. I think he really needs to start getting a little more strict on his voice control. I also think this guy needs to stick to country music i think he would be more comfortable with some Sugarland or some Rascal Flats. He reminds me of a very young Danny Gokey. Danny Gokey was one of my favorite contestants so this is not bashing it in any way i just think that he needs to get in a niche and stay there.
Crystal Bowersox- OK now a lot of people know that my favorite in this competition is Katie stevens. With that said I think Crystal Bowersox VOCALLY is way better. I though she vocally did very well in this competition. My issue with her is exactly what kara and ellen said i think she needs to put the guitar down quit hiding behind an instrument and PERFORM connect because right now i would listen to a Crystal Bowersox CD and on the radio but i do not know how much i would go see her in a concert. Very picky stuff but i think something that could kill her in the long run because i do believe she will be around in the long run
MIchael Lynche- When i saw what Michael was singing i knew that he is trying to get back to where he appealed to women's emotions. Here is my thing with michael it is the SAME thing every single week. The man can sing. There is no doubt about that i just think he needs to give us something new and different and take some risks. If he does not he is going to get VERY boring to fans and will not make it in the later weeks. Take some risks MIchael while you can.
Andrew Garcia - When i heard he was performing this song i was SOOOO EXCITED. He was one of my favorites from the very beginning of this competition. But he just is ailing to perform. There was no range in this performance it was boring he never went up the arrangement was horrible i was just very much unimpressed. I think that Andrew has a long ways to go and not enough time to get there. I would LOVE to see him tackle maroon 5 jason mraz something blake lewisy. i just think he is trying too hard and playing it too safe. Andrew was just blah.
Katie Stevens- OK so i am a little bias because she is one of my favorites in this competition. For the record I DO NOT THINK SHE WILL WIN THIS SHOW! i just like her i think she is fun spunky energetic and i think she has a good unique voice. I thought that tonight was the best performance while on the live show for her individually. I think Katie's problem was she should have waited about 3-4 years before she auditioned for this show. With some proper training and a little confidence boost i really think this girl has potential. I think Katie will make the top 10 and probably even better than that and is my favorite but i do NOT think she will beat BOWERSOX LYNCHE OR SHIOBAN.
Casey James- WOW! I disagree with simon completely i thought this performance was FANTASTIC!!!! HIS BEST YET! i think that he should have put the guitar down here also. I think he did not play it enough and it was more of a distraction from his voice. I think his problem like many other contestants is he is too focused on GIMMICKS. People need to just sing that is what this is about. Great job casey i think that retro rock is exactly where you need to stay. But remember this is not a guitar playing competition.
Didi Benami - This girl might be a DARKHORSE in this competition. She has now twice in a row gave very stunning performances. I think that she had a rough week or two starting on the live shows. But she is taking the criticism and running with it. This girl is on fire and has a great shot of actually winning this thing. She has the Look the voice the emotions. I think that she did very well and disagree with the judges. But what do i know. I think that she will ride this competition to the final five and then if she can turn it on she could pull an almost kris allen move that he did. Judges seem to disagree but we will see.
Shioban Magnus - FIRST OMG SEEING HER IN THOSE GLASSES AND HEARING THAT VOICE CRACKS ME UP! I think this girl is the one to bea ti think she is the next American Idol the girl has pipes the girl can sing and the girl has confidence. She knows she is born to be on that stage and she brings it. I think she looked different this week and i just think that girl is the one to beat. She is Fantastic. I love her. Her song choice her everything Sioban amazes me more and more every single week. WOW!! this girl is just fantastic and this is who i think will win this competition hands down. Now i think that she needs to watch some little points in this song and not get too cocky cause she almost got so wild it was too pitchy BUT she is golden. Not her best but still very very good. i agree with simon that the screaming was overpowering in this performance.
Overall: I think everyone is getting better and that we might have some great competition towards the end of this thing. I think the judges are being way to harsh. I think that they are trying to be harsh and trying to out do each other and think they need to back off. There is a difference between insults and criticism and i do not seem them actually helping the contestants. I see them hurting them more than anything. Stop being jerks and start being judges there is a thin line and i think they are wavering on it. With that said right now i believe that the bottom three will be Paige Miles, Tim Urban and Andrew Garcia and i believe that Time Urban SHOULD go home. But with the support of VFTW i believe that it will be Paige's last week with us.
Who to vote for: WHOEVER YOU WANT. Thats the thing about this show i know i like katei and i get criticized a lot for it but vote for who you want support them and bring it home. i will be combo voting for katie, Shioban and Didi. Vote and have fun with it.
